Ebay Rock 45's (10/7/11)

Ebay Rock 45's

Each Friday, I post a select group of 5 rock 45's that sold on Ebay recently along with the corresponding video - so you can judge for yourself if the buyer got a good deal.

The Three Ramblers If You Call That Love $2,53.00

From the Auction:

Original, rare rockabilly 45 by The Three Ramblers on the OZARK label out of Sault Ste. Marie Michigan.

Although I live in N. Michigan I haven't been able to find anyone who is familiar with this label or group.

The A side is IF YOU CALL THAT LOVE and I would say that it owes a bit to Johnny Cash's FOLSOM PRISON BLUES.

The B side is some kicking rockabilly called WALKING,TALKING BABYDOLL.

If you're not familiar with these songs then check them out on Youtube where you can listen to them.

Vocals on both sides are credited to Jerold Boykin.

The condition of this record is "pretty darn good for a 50 year old".
