1984 Taang! Records #1
Well, debatably one of the top shelf collectibles, 100 copies made of the Black Ink on Clear Acetate Sleeve...
Black vinyl, 2000 made...Green vinyl, different cover art, different labels, 1000 made...Clear vinyl, clear printed plastic sleeve, 100 made, same sleeve picture as the green vinyl one...Test pressings have test labels and xerox sleeve (of the black vinyl version). + insert, a small paper with the band name.
This debut 7” remains again debatably one of their best releases, along with the tracks on Boston not LA. Ultrafast Boston hardcore, excellent drumming, good production, wild and powerful. A hardcore classic, especially for the ultra short playing time
Record & Sleeve are literally in NM-/NM- Condition
From the auction:
ecpExcellent, guaranteed original, 1963 Minnesota Private-Pressing Hot Rod/Surf 45 by THE CHEVELLES entitled "Blue Chevelle"/"Mala-Boo" on Bangar Records (#00603). With the VERY RARE original picture sleeve as well! Condition: Sleeve = beautiful VG++ (light wear, no seam splits), Record = beautiful VG++ (very light paper scuffs - plays through fine though!
