Ebay Rock 45's 4/6/12

Each Friday, I search Ebay for some interesting high $$$ 45s that have sold on Ebay recently and on Saturday morning I post the top 5 along with the corresponding videos so you can judge for yourself if the buyer got a good deal.

The Rolling Stones     We Love You    $199.99

From the Auction:

Label- LONDON RECORDS 45-905 PICTURE SLEEVE
The Rolling Stones-DANDELION b/w WE LOVE YOU

Kip Tyler     She's My Witch    $199.17

From the Auction:

Two Out of this world Rockers on one 45. Both sides have been comped many many times, so this is a popular record. “She’s My Witch” delivers an beat that will infect your very soul. The sax and guitar are so sleazy and as tuff as nails. There is a spine tingling scream that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand on its end. The flip is just as menacing, “Rumble Rock”. The perfect juvenile delinquent song. A savage beat with a dangerous sax and a haunting piano. You get two fantastic rockers on one monster 45. This is guaranteed original. KILLER KILLER KILLER tracks!!! One of my personal faves.

The Stooges     I Wanna Be Your Dog     $162.39

From the Auction:

THE STOOGES
I WANNA BE YOUR DOG / 1969
ELEKTRA - EK 45664

Gas Huffer     Beer Drinkin Cavemen From Mars    $9.99

From the Auction:

Gas Huffer
Beer Drinkin Cavemen From Mars/Hot Cakes
Sub Pop Records #163 Blue Vinyl

Buddy Meredith     Flop Top Beer     $1.00

Now for a little Beer drinkin fun -

The Troggs    Miller Beer commercial on a 7"    22.38

From the Auction:

If You've Got The Time...We've Got The Beer    Sleeve is M- (tiny tear at opening on b-side), Reocrd is Near Mint with perfect labels.
Thought you had all the Troggs 7"ers?  Bet you're missing this one.  From the early 70s this EP is kind of a puzzler.  Although it has different Miller Beer jingles, the labels says "not to be sold or played on the air".
The first two tracks are straight-up Miller jingles, but the last four are different songs written around the tag line on the cover.  I'm guessing that this is the only place you'll find these songs.    A really cool piece for music and beer collectors.

Sorry no video for this one!

  1. I bought 5 of those Stooges 45's for a dollar back around 1984-5. I gave away 4 and don't know what ever became of the one I kept.
