Ebay Rock 45's
Each Friday, I post a select group of 5 rock 45's that sold on Ebay recently along with the corresponding video - so ya get to hear what the fuss is all about!
Here's the list for the week ending April 8th, 2011
The Saints I'm Stranded $1,037.16
From the Auction:
HOLY GRAIL TIME! Here you have one of the best and most iconic punk 7" releases of all time. This is the IMPOSSIBLY RARE private pressed original very first issue of "I'm Stranded" which was pressed 500 copies by the band themselves in September 1976. This is the ultimate and "proper" way of owning this 7" if you collect first issue punk singles
Tommy Lam Speed Limit $510.00
From the Auction:
Here is rockabilly singer TOMMY LAM with his hard to find recording of "SPEED LIMIT" and "A TEENAGE BIRTHDAY" on the Indianapolis NABOR NR103 label. This record is in VG++ condition. This record is hard to find in any condition and you won't be dissapointed with this one. And it comes with a 4x6 promo photograph of Tommy Lam. Also a hard to find item.
The MC5 Looking At You $500.00
From the Auction:
Hello, you are bidding on a used, but immaculate 7 inch 45 single, entitled, “LOOKING AT YOU” w/ “BORDERLINE” on the flip side on A-Square Records , by the MC5.
Johnny Cash Come In Stranger $279.99
From the Auction: VG+ (the "b" side appears to be autographed by Johnny, I looked at some Johnny signatures and it looks a lot like it, but I certainly can't authenticate it, the label is the same on both sides of the record, although the record plays "I Guess Things Happen That Way" on onje side and come in stranger on the other)
Screamin' Jay Hawkins Baptize Me In Wine $20.49
From the Auction:
APOLLO #528, PROMO
VG++ RECORD, CLEAN LABELS
ETCHED MATRIX: AP-3802/AP-3801
