Ebay Rock 45's
Each Friday, I post a select group of 5 rock 45's that sold on Ebay recently.
Here's the list for Friday, the 24th of December, 2010
Smart Alex Chitter Chat $501.00
From the Auction: Mega-rare 7" 45 by Smart Alex. Songs are "Chitter Chat" b/w "Tonight" Original pressing on Lickety Split Records #97-107 released in very limited edition in 1977. This is the mega-rare "Marquee" Picture sleeve edition. Only 5 known copies exist of this sleeve. It was made special by member of the band and given to Detroit writer/guitarist L. Ray. (Spike Drivers/Ivories). There is a faint number 5 (appears to be erased from front of sleeve, impression is stil there). Condition is VG+ (Picture Sleeve - slightly oversized sleeve has very tiny tear on top of sleeve, some light curling on top of sleeve)/Mint- (Vinyl). A holy grail for any Powerpop/Punk collector. Don't sleep, doubt you'll see another of these
