2010 Bodega Atamisque Catalpa Malbec

Nice and sunny out here on the left coast.  I've got a wonderful Argentinian Malbec opened up this afternoon - all set to go with some split pea soup and grilled sausages.  This one is from the Uco Valley in the Mendoza region and is produced by the Bodega Atamisque folks.  Nice and earthy with just a hint of some red fruit, this Malbec is right at the heart of the style.  Dark as ink with a nice balance and a silky finish - highly recommended.

Cheers,
