A Beautiful Sunday afternoon out here on the Left Coast. Got a bottle of French Red open tonight, ready to go with some pasta topped with an Artichoke Marinara sauce. Grilled some Asparagas, Zuchini and Eggplant as well.The wine is from the Jean d'Aosque winery in Southeast France (from the Languedoc Roussillion region) on the the coast of the Mediteranean. Inky purple with a firm nose and a silky finish, you can find this one at Trader Joes for around $7.
