Ebay Rock 45's
Each Friday, I post a select group of 5 rock 45's that sold on Ebay recently.
Here's the list for Friday, the 16th of July, 2010
From the Auction: Chicago blues player Howlin' Wolf. This record is in gorgeous condition. The A-side has one feathery scratch that is so light it took me a few seconds to see it. The B-side has a .5"scratch in the runoff which in no way affects the playable surface, and what might be a minute pressing flaw or scuff about a third in (does not affect play). The labels have some rub. Gloss is like new - plays like new as well! Beautiful. Excellent record.
From the Auction: PLUGZ-MINDLESS CONTENTMENT / MOVE 1978 SLASH RECORDS (Original TIE SLEEVE ! . sleeve has a water stain ,slight edge ware . see photos . this is 100% original , i compared it to my other original ,trust me this is the real deal , vinyl is in decent shape too. the tie sleeve was made for a mail order with a coupon to slash , there were atleast 50 sleeves made and sent to slash records . the band sold a few at a gig thay played and that is where the prevous owner got this one from i was told the stain on the sleeve happened at the gig where the owner had to cary the record around at the gig. there are proberly 75-100 of there sleeves out there . never less extreamly rare) ...
From the Auction:
Dex Romweber - GLOW IN THE DARK 7" on Third Man Records - TMR-009
Blue series is SPOOKY! Print Mafia designs, layed out by the illustrious MILES Johnson. Your Turntable is UNDEAD!!!
A side - "The Wind Did Move"
B side - "Last Kind Word Blues"
Made in USA 2009 - Sold only in temporary LONDON pop up store on All Hallows Eve.
From The Auction: I remember most of fans didn't know it was released as pictur-disc. This is the original Noise release. Everything here is cult! The print quality can't be compared to any bootleg or decades later Earmark reissue: This is the one! Hyper rare in mint condition.A must for the true dedicated Hellhammer/Celtic Frost collector.
