A nice spring Sunday afternoon, a bit of a chill in the air - no need to worry - I've cracked open a bottle of Sobon Estate 2011 Rocky Top Zinfandel to keep me warm. A wonderful expression of the Zinfandel produced in the Amador County - nice soft nose full of red ripe fruit and a velvety smooth finish that is going to pair well with Bolognese sauce that I have bubbling in the kitchen.
