It's a Red Wine Sunday tonight with a killer Malbec from Santa Julia Winery in the Mendoza region of Argentina. I've had a few Malbecs from the country and have been disappointed a few times by bad corks and bad wine, but this one is really good. A synthetic cork takes care of the "corked" issue and the wineries choice of sustainably farmed grapes and barrel aging make this a keeper. Plus, I found it on sale for about a tenner at my local Co-Op. I'm a happy camper - now back to those records - XTC or the Ventures next on the Juke?
Cheers,
Jerry
