Out of Fort Lauderdale, the group is The Essentials, and the record is called "Fast Music in a Slow Town." Side one "Turn off your Radio" and "I Don't Get It", Side 2: "Johnny" and "It's Essential". Produced by Charlie Pickett and The Essentials and recorded on Safety Net Records, 1982. Includes a two-sided lyrics sheet and a "button" with the inscription "Since we couldn't get a small hole, here's a do-it-yourself Essentials button! Just tape a safety pin onto this side!!. Thanx, Safety Net. The button looks to be the paper adapter cutout from the 45 with a hole as if it were a 33.
that Dean Carter track is KILLER! i gotta find me a copy of that somewhere!
